Airports
of Thailand has decided to increase charges for passengers move away
from the current BT100 BT200 for domestic flights and from Bt700 to
Bt800 for international flights in mid- 2014.
AOT President of the Sith Thivaree said the agency was notified that now give passengers plenty of notice.

Executives
in the tourism industry said it would not oppose fee increases

impact on tourism. However

tourists complained to members of the association.
Yutthachai Soonthronrattanavate , president of the Association of Domestic Travel , had similar doubts .
Sitha
said , raising passenger service charge (PSC ) was necessary because
the actual cost of the increase to Bt336 the national passenger , Bt236
higher than per capita income collected. AOT to absorb the price difference for some time.
Higher
departure fee will apply in all six AOT operated airports (
Suvarnabhumi Airport , Don Mueang , Chiang Mai , Chiang Rai , Phuket and
Hat Yai ) , after approval by the Ministry of Civil Aviation after
passengers were notified six months in advance , which should be in mid-2014 , he said.
AOT expects to earn from airport -related fees this year about BT16 billion CZK . The
higher the departure passenger service charge (PSC ) should support an

another development , AOT hopes to be able to provide insurance for
passengers of flight delays of more than three hours , regardless of the
reason . Passengers delayed flights would be entitled to an immediate refund or a new ticket .
The insurance company AOT is designed to cover delays of five hours and up. This program should be initiated at the same time as the increase in PSC scheduled for mid- 2014.
With
higher revenues this year of passenger growth , foreign exchange gains (
from yen -denominated loan swap around BT3 billion CZK ) and rental
income reopening Don Mueang airport , the council agreed AOT reward
their employees 11 months bonus this year. Details , however, have yet to be revealed .
The
Board was asked to review the AOT 's operating results for the fiscal
year 2013 ( October 1, 2012 , to September 30, 2013 ) at its next

net profit before interest , tax and depreciation is Bt22.2 billion ,
while net profit of Bt14.4 billion Bt17.7 billion is more than 100
percent more than last year's net profit of Bt6.50 billion CZK .
